RHIA Digital Health Champions Program
The RHIA Digital Health Champions Program, under the Rwanda Health Informatics Alliance recognizes individuals who are making outstanding contributions to digital transformation within Rwanda’s health sector.
Digital Health Champions are leaders, innovators, and change-makers who strengthen healthcare delivery through responsible use of digital tools, data systems, and technology-enabled solutions.
II. Who is Eligibility?
An applicant must meet some of the following criterias:
Digital Health Contribution
Actively uses, supports, or leads digital health tools (EMRs, telemedicine, HIS, mobile apps, data systems, AI solutions, etc.).Demonstrated Impact
Shows measurable improvements in service delivery, system adoption, data quality, or health outcomes.Innovation & Problem Solving
Develops or contributes to digital innovations that address health system challenges.Leadership & Mentorship
Trains, mentors, or supports peers in digital health adoption.Ethical & Responsible Use of Data
Upholds national data protection, confidentiality, and ethical digital practices.Community Engagement
Participates in RHIA activities, ICT Chamber programs, digital health trainings, forums, or working groups.
